David Archuleta releases his debut album on November 11.
Prior to that big date, though, the American Idol finalist will film a guest-starring role on the Nickelodeon show iCarly.
Look for the episode - in which Archuleta portrays a contestant in a talent competition called "America Sings" - to air in the spring.
"iCarly is all about super-talented teens so David Archuleta is an ideal fit," iCarly executive producer and creator Dan Schneider.

What a marvelous opportunity for David to branch out! He has won us over with his top flight vocal ability, now we get to see his acting chops. Good luck David - and much success in your music career!

David A rules!!!! He is proving to be so much more than a great singer and all around cutie... the young man is multi talented, and his fans are looking forward to seeing him in action on iCarly, and buying his debut album on 11/11... SCORE ONE FOR THE CRUSHER!
