David Cook Dishes on Life After American Idol

David Cook can't complain about life after American Idol.

But he can talk about how the show has changed his surrounding world.

"I think in one sense everything's changed, but in another sense nothing has," the reigning champion said recently. "There's all these different things around me that I didn't have a year ago. I was able to furnish a home and get a nice car and be able to treat my family to some of the things that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to do."

Other than that, though, the singer says everything is pretty much the same.

"I'm still a goober from the Midwest. Now I've just got a few more resources. I don't feel like the show changed me at all."

Cook will release his self-titled debut album on November 18. He describes his music as "eclectic rock" with some songs featuring lots of riffs and others that are "very piano driven and delicate."

We can't wait to hear it.

Sharon Osbourne Disses, Dismisses Megan Hauserman

Sharon Osbourne has gotten to know the women on Rock of Love Girls: Charm School quite well.

And while she had some nice things to say about Angelique - ”she’s done porn, stripping, she just f***ing loves it and owns it and she’s just fantastic...” - the show's host doesn't possess the same sort of affection for Megan Hauserman.

“She said her ambition was to be a trophy wife. Oh God. Well she has got the f***ing brain of a peanut. She does have a pretty damn good body, but no f***ing brain. Her brain is between her legs. She told me she was an accountant and an estate agent.”

Reality TV Rumor of the Day: Dina Lohan to Go Dancing With the Stars

Please say this is merely a rumor, Dancing With the Stars. We know it's been a rough season, but one thing is certain:

Dina Lohan won't make anything better in the future.

The attention-starved mother of Lindsay and Ali recently hinted that she'll be a contestant on the next season of this reality competition.

"I'm not allowed to say," Lohan told New York Magazine of her upcoming plans. "But I will say that I am a fan of Dancing With the Stars.

Daughter Ali Lohan is supportive of her terrible mother.

"I mean, I've seen her dance on the show and everything, and me and my brother were really surprised she did it," Ali said. "I think she'd do really good."

Dancing with the Stars' seventh season is currently underway. Its next volume will premiere in early 2009.

Lacey Schwimmer is Also Sick

This is getting creepy.

Lacey Schwimmer says she has been diagnosed with the same ailment, endometriosis, that has put Julianne Hough on the Dancing with the Stars shelf for a couple weeks.

“A few days ago, I started feeling very shaky, very weak, and I had awful cramps … I didn’t really know what was going on,” Lance Bass' partner told The Insider. “I went to go get checked out today and I
actually have the beginning onset of what Julianne has.”

Proud Partners

For all non-doctors out there: endometriosis is a medical condition found in 5 percent to 10 percent of females; it ss the development of uterine-lining tissue outside the uterus on the
surfaces of organs, such as the appendix, in the pelvis or abdomen.

“It hurts very bad,” she said. “Right now I’m insanely weak, and the room is spinning.”

But, for now, Schwimmer won’t require surgery. Look for her to be getting down with Bass on next week's show.

“I have medication that is taking care of it,” she said. “We caught it at a very good time.”
