Britney Spears to Appear on The X-Factor

Britney Spears is said to be returning to the UK - to make an appearance on Simon Cowell's Pop Idol successor, The X Factor.

The singer will perform her comeback single "Womanizer" in what will be her first visit to the UK in four years. Just madness.

Her new album Circus is to be released in December, while "Womanizer" will be available in the UK as a single September 22.

Britney

A track from Britney Spears' new album, titled "Candy From Strangers" has already been reportedly leaked online. It's not bad.

Earlier this month, Spears jump-started her "comeback" when she took home three prizes at the 25th MTV Video Music Awards.

Pop Idol, of course, spawned not only The X-Factor, but a U.S. reality show known as American Idol. Maybe you've heard of it.

Audrina Patridge: Moving Out

You may have seen this piece of Hills gossip coming:

Audrina Patridge is moving out of Lauren Conrad's guest house.

Moving vans were seen outside of their residence and boxes were dropped off on Thursday. Audrina apparently made the decision - which many saw coming - after months of awkward tension between her, Conrad and Lo Bosworth.

Audrina Moves Out

"All I want is for you to be my friend again," a teary-eyed Lauren Conrad told Patridge on last week's emotional and captivating episode of The Hills.

"Okay, then let's do it," Audrina replied.

Alas, it was not to be. At least not in the same Los Angeles villa. At least now she has more time to focus on her new movie role.

The Entertainer: The I Love Money Exit Interview

The Entertainer failed to win the heart of Tiffany Pollard on I Love New York 2; he also won't be winning any cash on I Love Money.

Still, this reality TV stalwart is in an upbeat mood. Or at least a fighting mood. He spoke to VH1 about his recent experiences. Here are highlights from the interview:

On the show, there was also a lot of talk about you being the most hated person in the house. Did you agree with that assessment?
I think it was really exaggerated. As far as I know, Whiteboy was cool with me. No one said anything to my face. If Whiteboy wanted a piece of this and wanted to call me out, let’s do it. I will f***ing do it any day. If Chance wanted to call me out, if Real called me out, let’s do it.

They talk about me in the interviews, but you don’t hear me talking about them. You don’t hear me talking about anybody unless I’ve talked to them to their face. I’m not a phony, but these people are. They’re the losers, not me.

Any feelings on the Destiney situation?
Well, I’m going to go deep into it at the reunion, but as far as I’m concerned, I have nothing against her. I wish her the best of luck. She’s the one that did me wrong. She exploded on me and decided that we weren’t going to speak anymore. I don’t talk to her at all. I’m fine with that. It’s like the situation with Heather and 12 Pack. I’m friends with Heather. I love her to death. I can’t say a bad word about her. I read what she said about 12 Pack, and I’m really close with him. I don’t know what happened with them, I don’t even care at this point. But it’s tough. They’re both good people

Lance Bass Has Sausage Feet

Lance Bass is totally ready to go Dancing with the Stars.

He may need some ice for his feet first, however.

“I’m wearing heels!” Bass told People Magazine earlier this week. “It’s not that fun. My feet are swollen sausages every day!”

Lacey Schwimmer and Lance Bass

Painfully, that's not all: At 29, Bass is also feeling his age after four weeks of countless hours spent preparing for Monday night’s premiere.

“It doesn’t feel the same at all,” Bass said, who is partnered with a new ballroom pro, So You Think You Can Dance alum Lacey Schwimmer. “The first thing you notice is your knees, then your lower back goes out, your arms start hurting–and the feet!”

Survivor Spotlight: Marcus Lehman

Based on his last name alone, Marcus Lehman will have no success on Survivor: Gabon this year.

But investment banks jokes aside, the competitor is actually afraid that being a doctor won't make him an appealing candidate to fellow castaways.

Jeff Probst doesn't seem to agree, though. The host told Entertainment Weekly:

''Marcus is a physician, as he likes to remind people. And he is a true leader, an extremely bright guy. He's a hero. He is a huge threat to win the game, for sure. He has looks, he's got smarts, he's probably the fittest guy out there, so he's got a lot of things going for him."

Denise Richards: It's Complicated, and It's Coming Back

So much for our renewed faith in humanity.

Earlier this summer, we rejoiced when word hit that the ridiculous, exploitive Denise Richards reality show was canceled.

Now, sadly, the awful, attention-mongering mother says Denise Richards: It's Complicated has actually been picked up for a second season.

"It's coming back for another season," Richards said this week. "We start filming in a few months."

We Hate You

Asked if she has any well wishes for ex husband Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller, who are expecting their first child together, Richards sounded mature as always:

"I am not commenting on that situation. I hope one day get to a place but I'm not commenting right now."

Samantha Harris Loves Her Daughter

Samantha Harris can't wait to host season seven of Dancing with the Stars.

First, though, she's reflecting on how quickly a year flies by.

"To think that a year ago, before the Dancing season premiere of season five, I was giving birth, and how quickly a year goes, it's fun," Harris told People Magazine. "Seeing her smile and giggle, and learn new things each and every single day – it's incredible how quickly at that young age."

Samantha, Josselyn Harris

So, will fans see little Josselyn this season?

"I brought her to the Dancing set when she was about five months old, and I hope to bring her back this season as well," Harris said. "She already has a tutu, so she's ready to tango. Wait a second – you don't tango in a tutu, but she'll find a way."

Dan Gheesling Speaks on Big Brother 10 Win

Dan Gheesling, the 25-year-old Catholic school teacher from Michigan, has to be the nicest winner in Big Brother history. Below, Dan talks a bit about his landslide victory last night and his thoughts on this season ...

Q: What did you think of the unanimous vote in your favor? Who did you think was the least likely to vote for you on the jury?

Dan Gheesling: Man I was hoping to get four votes … maybe. But 7-0, wow, what a phenomenal feeling. I thought Keesha and Renny were solid but the others were up in the air. I thought Jerry and Libra would vote for Memphis and April, Ollie and Michelle would decide the game. I think this is a first in Big Brother history. (Editor’s note: He’s right. It is. Even the Big Brother master, Dr. Will, had two votes against him in season 2.)

Q: There was speculation in the house that you were America’s player. Did that last for long?

Big Brother: Dan Gheesling

Dan Gheesling: I had to fight that off every second thanks to one woman: Libra. She started the America’s Player conspiracy. It went on constantly. I always had to battle it.

Q: Let’s talk about Jerry’s Judas comment. Were you hurt by that or more hurt by the implication that Jessie Godderz, of all people, was representing Jesus in that scenario?

Dan Gheesling: Neither was offensive. It was like water running off my back. I never let it pull me in. I knew what they were trying to do, but it was not worth getting into personal fight over religion. I was focused on the game.
