While there's still no premiere date for the latest Mark Burnett-produced reality show, Jingles, there is a host for the series.
Kimberly Caldwell - a finalist on the second season of American Idol and rumored girlfriend of David Cook - will host the show, which asks contestants to write and perform jingles about a wide variety of products.
Did you find last season's Dancing With the Stars champion, Kristi Yamaguchi, too bland for reality television.
While ABC entertainment chief Steve McPherson says the former Olympic ice skater wasn't solely to blame, he is on the lookout for more exciting contestants.
“It wasn’t just Kristi. I think that the kind of real finalists were really great dancers, really fun, but just nice, sweet personalities,” McPherson said. “There wasn’t a whole lot going on. I think it’s good to have some controversy. It’s good to have a little bit more edge at times and a little bit more competition.”

The executive added:
"I think it’s all about compelling personalities. And those can come from all different walks of life."
So far, that sentiment has rung true: Warren Sapp and Joan Rivers are supposedly signed up to dance.
Once again, it looks like The Bachelor picked the wrong woman.
Last season's star, London native Matt Grant, actually picked Lorenzo Lamas' blond, ditzy daughter Shayne Lamas as his bride to be.
After Grant moved to L.A. to be near his honey, Lamas, a wannabe actress, set up photo shoots for paparazzi on a California beach.

That's the least of his concerns, however.
First he moved out of her place.
Then, last Tuesday, Shayne Lamas hooked up with Las Vegas media magnate Justin Weneger at Blush in the Wynn. There were no photos of them but New York Post got the scoop anyway.

After all, in an exclusive interview with AllHipHop.com, the former Flavor of Love contestant (real name: Shay Johnson) claims that the sex the tape's distribution was done without her permission. Moreover, she doesn't see what the fuss is about.
“It troubled me to find out my intimate act of love was classified as a sex tape. I didn't speak on it because I knew how tender the situation was between me and my partner,” Buckeey said, totally convincingly.
“I didn't want to point fingers at anyone or come out with any names because it was then and still is very much my personal business.”

Since the release of the doggy style railing intimate act of love caught on tape, Buckeey has been forced to deal with mocking questions about her sex life. This interiew was an attempt to keep her name and naked body in the news mend her reputation.
“Over these past few weeks I have been tortured by strangers about what happened… So I'm forced to make a statement,” she said.
“The truth is what I did was out of love for someone and for he and I to share and reflect on. It was never meant for thousands of people to view and make comments on. So, from this point the concentration should be on where I'm going, not what I did. All I ask is for my fans to continue to love me and the haters can keep their job, too.”
This is almost as shocking as the discovery of a new Toastee nude photo.
Bret Michaels and Rock of Love season two winner Ambre Lake have broken up. Before you go doubting the validity of this rumor, consider the source: VH1 itself.
The network released the following statement, which announced the plans for Rock of Love 3 in 2009:
Rock star Bret Michaels tried twice to find love by filling a mansion with gorgeous women and having them compete for his heart. But after the final pass was handed out and the cameras stopped rolling, Bret’s picks didn’t work out. He and season two winner, Ambre Lake, really tried to make it work and although they still remain close friends, between his tour line-up and her work schedule there’s no time for a relationship.
“Seasons one and two of Rock of Love shattered ratings records and VH1 is so happy to have Bret back for another outrageous season. This time we’ll reveal Bret in his most comfortable setting- the infamous rock star tour bus.” said Jeff Olde, VH1’s Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Production.
“Bret has been very upfront and honest about how difficult maintaining a normal relationship may be for a touring rock star. He’s right, it’s absolutely an insane lifestyle and neither of us had the time to make it work,” Lake said.

As previously reported, Tiffany Pollard and Tailor Made are no longer a couple.
Now, a source has confirmed that it was actually Tailor Made who called things off with Pollard (aka "New York"), a little over a month after he proposed marriage and she accepted during the I Love New York reunion show last December.
"When they began shooting, he played it up that they were still together even though they weren't," the source said. "They had an understanding because he has respect for Tiffany."
Tiffany Pollard is blue.
The source continued:
"When they first got back from L.A. after they filmed I Love New York 2, everything was great. In January, George had a serious discussion with Tiffany. He had come to the conclusion that he couldn't handle the relationship anymore. It was too distracting to his life, his career and his daughter. He couldn't consistently be involved in that kind of drama."
