America's Next Top Model Spoilers for Cycle 11

No major news on the America's Next Top Model front, but we have learned the following two pieces of information regarding season 11, currently being filmed:

  • Five models, as opposed to the usual six, will go abroad with the show's judges. Their destination? Amsterdam.
  • Once there, it's being reported that the final five will participate in a photo shoot with pieces from jewelry designer, Rodrigo Otazu. He has provided pieces for runway shows for everyone from Christian Lacroix to Jean-Paul Gaultier. Otazu He has also had his jewelry worn by celebrities such as Britney Spears and Aretha Franklin.

American Idol vs. So You Think You Can Dance

They're two of the most popular reality shows on TV. With that in mind, The New York Daily News took it upon itself to compared the judges on American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance.

To wit:

THE TWITS: Paula Abdul vs. Mary Murphy

Similarities: The goofy brunettes both devote a lot of their critiques to the contestants' appearance. Murphy's signature comment is to label a dancer sexy enough to ride on her "hot tamale train," which is about as nonsensical and confusing as most of what Abdul says. They're both loopy, loud and the least likely to be taken seriously.

Differences: While Abdul hardly ever has a bad thing to say, Murphy doesn't hold back when she thinks a contestant stinks. However, Murphy is a ballroom-dancing champion, so she actually knows what she's talking about. Abdul sang "Opposites Attract" next to a cartoon of MC Skat Kat.

America's Got Talent Judges Speak Out

While Executive Producer Simon Cowell has said this season of America's Got Talent produces "one of the most talented people on any show I've been involved in," we'll have to wait to see who that individual is.

But we won't have to wait to hear a bit from judge Sharon Osbourne and host Jerry Springer!

The former said she tries to look at the show's performers differently than a viewer.

"I look at the talent very differently anyway from say the person who is voting because I always like to see somebody that knows their craft and has learned their craft, and studied well," Osbourne told reporters during the conference call.

"So I look at somebody totally different. But hey, I hope it's not a singer that wins because there's so many shows for singers, that our show is so different that it gives other people who are equally as talented but in a different way a chance."

Judging Talent

Springer touched on the reason why so many singers audition for America's Got Talent, saying it's a "reflection of the culture."

"Most performance entertainment other than actors are people who sing. So at least everyone - if they're not tone deaf - can conceive of being a singer," the former mayor and talk show host said. "But not everybody juggles and not everybody is a magician, but everyone has at least sung once in their life. So it's the most popular form of entertainment, I guess."

America's Got Talent premiered last night.

Meagan Cooper Accuses Mario Lopez of Affair

Meagan Cooper is more than a Hooters waitress and contestant on the upcoming reality show, I Survived a Japanese Game Show.

She also claims she's the woman responsible for breaking up former Dancing with the Stars couple Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff, telling E! that she and Lopez carried on a secret romance for almost a year while he dated Smirnoff.

"He told me he lived alone," said Cooper, "but I opened up [his] closet and saw a row of women's shoes and said, 'Either you are a cross-dresser or a woman is living here.'"

Meagan Cooper says she had an affair with Mario Lopez during his relationship with Karina Smirnoff.

Cooper continued: "We're not friends anymore. He's really pissed. He's like, 'You're not supposed to talk to [press],' but when you make me look like a total whore, I'm going to tell somebody about it."

We're trying not to take sides here, but no one had heard of Meagan Cooper until she came out with this story. Hard to see how Lopez made her look like anything.

"He's a really great guy, don't get me wrong. He's a really nice person. He has a lot of great qualities, but he was not the most faithful person in the world," Cooper said, possibly telling the truth, but definitely desiring fame.

Report: A Battle Between Playboy Bunnies

The Girls Next Door? More like The Catfight at the Mansion, according to various reports.

Celebrity gossip site TMZ is stating that there's major tension between Hugh Hefner girlfriend at the moment, so much so that Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson cannot even be in the same room together for more than five minutes at a time.

Holly

We know Holly Madison has huge boobs. Does she have an ego to match?

As Bridget Marquardt tries to keep the peace between her two often-naked friends, sources say Holly's ambition is spilling over to the magazine, as well. Reportedly, she wants to have editorial control over various spreads, something that's not going over well with employees.

Show producers claim they're "not aware" of any rift between the ladies, but we'll be glad to keep our eye on the situation as it develops. Especially if it means attending any parties at the Playboy Mansion.

Big Brother 10: Wildest Cast Yet

In an interview with TV Guide, Executive Producer Allison Grodner said the following about Big Brother 10:

"We're going to have our wildest group yet. We've found some very extreme personalities with very extreme points of view.

Even the older cast members will be getting into the crazy swing of things, Grodner said: "They're seeing that the younger contestants are impulsive and explosive and do themselves in. The older ones now feel they've got a real shot at the money."

The wildest Big Brother yet?!? We can't even begin to imagine what that would entail.
