Brooke Knows Best Premiere Date, Synopsis

VH1 has announced that Brooke Hogan's ridiculous spin-off to Hogan Knows Best, Brooke Knows Best, will premiere on July 13 .

Here's a portion of the press release about the series:

"No longer an innocent teenager [her parents are divorced and her brother is in jail], Brooke learns what growing up is really about. For the first time, Brooke is learning how to deal with the ins and outs of daily life, new relationships, of her family's recent struggles, as well as managing her career and finances without Mom and Dad."

The cast of Brooke Knows Best will consist of Brooke, and her two roommates, Ashley and Glenn.

We'd love to know: Does anyone think Brooke Hogan really knows best? About... anything?!?

MTV Announces Reality TV Show Slate

MTV has announced a new, thorough, slightly disturbing slate of reality shows.

For starters, there's an untitled project that focuses on rapper 50 Cent and his search for the nation's next street-smart business mogul. Sounds like the perfect person to go on that adventure to us.

There's also Buzzin' on the horizon, a comedic reality series that will chart the rise of music artist Shwayze; Busted, a half-hour that chronicles kids that break the law; and Making the Rock Band, a new take on Diddy's music reality series.

Also in the scary mix - seriously - is 16 and Pregnant, which chronicles the path of a real-life Juno. We know what you're thinking, though, and the answer is no: it doesn't star Jamie Lynn Spears.

Tony Danza Signed On to Celebrity: Apprentice

Although nothing is official yet, we've received strong word that Tony Danza is the first C-lister to sign up for the next season of Celebrity Apprentice.

What do you think of this choice?

An Interview with Carrie Ann Inaba

A Dancing JudgeOur good friends at BuddyTV recently chatted with Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba. Here's what that show's version of Paula Abdul had to say:

Were you pleased with the outcome of the season?
Yes. I was. You know, I'm always pleased with how things turn out on that show because I think it's such a great experience to have the judges vote as well as the audience vote. And I'm never disappointed, and this year, once again, I was not disappointed. And I was really happy that Kristi [Yamaguchi] won.

Yeah, Kristi and Mark [Ballas], just right out of the gate, they were really great. At least on TV, it looked like they were just so much better than the competition. What was it like live?

I think that throughout the competition, it was pretty close between Jason [Taylor], Cristian [de la Fuente] and maybe Mario, and Kristi. Those were the top four couples.

And then, the last night of competition, when they did the head-to-head cha cha, where they all danced part of one routine to the cha cha, you really got to see that Kristi was kind of head and shoulders above the rest, you know? She made it very obvious that she was the one who deserved to win the competition.

Ambre Lake: Should She Die?

The headline above is not our way of wishing harm on Rock of Love 2 winner, Ambre Lake.

Indeed, it's simply the question viewers must consider when watching Project: Slasher, a new interactive movie in which Lake - somehow, for some reason - stars.

Ambre Lake

Do you wanna kill Ambre Lake? Now you can!

In the odd film, Ambre is bruised, bloodied and terrified, running for her life. The plot has her being kidnapped by ghoulish, Harlequin-masked men. Remember those Choose Your Own Adventure books from the 1980s? That's the idea behind this project.

Should Ambre â€" a.k.a., Janelle â€" flee into the woods, or seek refuge in the barn? Should she defend herself with a knife â€" or a chainsaw? As the movie's website says, "She Lives. She Dies. You Choose."

We're as perplexed as you are.

Julianne Hough Album Tops Country Chart

Julianne Hough is more than just a beautiful face.

She's also more than an impressive dancer.

Indeed, the Dancing with the Stars professional is now a successful singer! Her self-titled debut album has landed at number-three on Billboard's The Billboard 200 and at number-one on the Top Country album sales charts after selling 67,000 copies in its first week of release.

The CD also represents the highest country debut for any new artist since 2006.

A Little Bit Country

"Country music has always been my passion," said Hough. "Having the opportunity to make a record in Nashville and then getting to share that with the world is beyond my wildest imagination."

Moreover, Hough's single "That Song In My Head" climbed three spots from No. 32 to No. 29 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.

"There are so many people to thank for helping me achieve this dream," said Hough. "From my family, the writers and musicians, and to everyone at Dancing with the Stars."

What the heck, we'll take some credit, too! We have been talking up Julianne for months now. You're welcome, honey!

Reality TV Recaps: Farmer Wants a Wife, So You Think You Can Dance

What's Matt Neustadt been up? We're so glad you asked. Here's a recap of his exciting reality show, along with a summer classic on FOX...

Farmer Wants a Wife: The episode starts off with the girls talking about the crazy stalker antics of Brooke and Lisa.  They think it's hilarious that Matt might think of them as immature psychos after the incident in the previous episode... -- BuddyTV

So You Think You Can Dance: First up, and with a lengthy intro video showing her with her family, was Chelsie Hightower who danced flawlessly with her partner, wowed the judges, and was immediately given a golden ticket to Vegas... -- Reality TV Magazine

Denise Richards: The Preferred Attention Whore

In a match-up of self-absorbed attention whore, Denise Richards narrowly defeated Dina Lohan Monday night.

Denise Richards: It's Complicated nabbed 1.5 million total viewers for the evening (each of whom should be ashamed of themselves), while Living Lohan 1.45 million people with absolutely nothing else to do.

Both shows launched back-to-back on Monday on E!.

Dina Lohan recently told The View that she opened her home to cameras, "to defuse rumors about my family." Naturally. The more people think you care more about fame than your children, the more you should be on television.

Meanwhile, Richards has been criticized by ex-husband Charlie Sheen and his fiancee Brooke Mueller for including her daughters on the series. She's a terrible human being.

Introducing: The Full Cast of I Love Money

We're absolutely giddy over the premise of VH1's latest reality show, I Love Money.

It debuts on July 13 and, in a nutshell: the show takes former contestants from Rock of Love and Flavor of Love and pits them against one another in a competition of sweat, tears and an utter lack of shame
