The time comes on every season of The Bachelor when the guy must embark on the possibly wonderful, possibly dreadful hometown dates.

That night for Matt Grant was last night.

For the hometown dates, our English gentleman traveled across the U.S. to meet the families of Shayne Lamas, Chelsea, Noelle, and Amanda.

Matt had to deal with being grilled by family members, not being certain where his own feelings led him - and one girl who played a huge prank on him.

Vinci Alonso wants to make on thing clear: he is not gay!

And we mean this in both the homosexual sense of the word and the happy sense of the word, as the Viva Hollywood contestant proved last night. Upon being told that the stars of this VH1 reality show would be performing a gay scene on camera, Vinci locked himself in the bathroom and cried.

She won't be appearing on The Hills or any other reality TV shows, but former Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari is going back to work!

The beautiful young woman will be appearing in the independent film Wild Cherry, co-starring Rob Schneider and Rumer Willis, Variety reports.

The ensemble comedy centers around an attractive high school senior who plans to lose her virginity to her football player boyfriend.

She finds out, though, that her beau only wants to sleep with her so he can include her in the football team's so-called "bang book."

Outraged, she and her friends decide to plot revenge. 

We look forward to seeing Kristin Cavallari's new movie.

As for Kristin's former high school rival, Lauren Conrad? She's said she has no interest in acting once The Hills comes to an end.

Last night got the reality TV week started in proper fashion. The Rock of Love reunion delivered cat fights galore, while Viva Hollywood remained our new favorite show about wannabe Spanish soap opera stars...

Thanks to an incredible 112-pound weight loss, Ali Vincent was named the first-ever female winner of The Biggest Loser last week. Here is an excerpt of an interview she gave to BuddyTV:

When you were eliminated in the fourth episode, you knew you were going to come back and be The Biggest Loser. How could you have possibly known that you were going to achieve that goal? Is that something that you just saw in your future?
From the beginning, even in the line I just felt something through my body. I just knew I was gonna make it to each step. I knew, but I didn't. I mean, I never knew, but I felt it in my body like, oh my God, this is happening. Oh my God, I think I'm supposed to be the first female Biggest Loser.

First, it was just something I said, and I wanted it, and basically, I was kind of faking it until you make it. I was like, "I'm gonna be the first female Biggest Loser! I'm gonna do it." Even in the interview process! In week four, when I read my letters from home from my siblings, and all the things they had to say about me, how they knew that I could do this, it was just pure heart.

It was absolutely true for me that I'm gonna be The Biggest Loser.

With the support of manager-boyfriend Spencer Pratt, The Hills star Heidi Montag launches her new clothing line, Heidiwood, at Kitson on Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles on Saturday. Yes, some store is actually carrying it.

Looking as plastic and fake as ever, Heidi Montag wore one of her own items to the affair. Think this girl wants to be famous at all? A little?

Despite not-the-greatest reviews of her fashion line, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt smiled the day away and posed with fans. Which apparently they have.

In Random Reality TV Guest Star news:

President Bush will appear, via taped message from The White House, on Monday's episode of Deal or No Deal.

The show will feature Capt. Joseph Kobes, a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient who has served in Iraq three times, as he attempts to win enough cash to pay off his parents' house.

The President will surprise him by saying he must return to the Middle East. Just kidding.

President Bush actually appear on screen to express gratitude for Kobes' service and wish him luck in the game.

Looks like Derek Hough and Shannon Elizabeth are more than just partners on the dance floor.

The pair were spotted hugging and kissing this week while frolicking at the beach in Malibu. They appear to be following in the romantic footsteps of past Dancing with the Stars contestants, Karina Smirnoff and Mario Lopez.
