Keeping it low-key over the past few weeks, since her nude picture scandal, Audrina Patridge was spotted doing some chores in W. Hollywood Wednesday.

The 22-year-old brunette star of The Hills looked hot in a green top with black pants as she stopped by a nearby gas station and some stores.

On a side note, FHM just released its annual 100 Sexiest Women in the World list - and the girls from The Hills placed as follows: Heidi Montag (No. 44) beating out Audrina (No. 80) and Lauren Conrad (No. 95).

Heidi beating both Audrina and Lauren? WTF? And where is Whitney Port!? Come on FHM. We thought we knew you a little better than this.

The lovely Lauren Conrad was seen at the Redkens Real Control cocktail party at West Hollywood's Warren Tricomi Salon on Wednesday.

There, LC was asked about her clothing line, The Lauren Conrad Collection, which has been greeted with both criticism and praise since its release.

She said: "I would not be able to have the line if I didn't have [The Hills] first or I wouldn't be able to have it so soon, but because I was on a reality show, you don't get the respect that you want and ... I have done everything to deserve it as far as all the designing and everything that I would've done, reality show or not. Because I got the opportunity so much sooner, people are quick to criticize."

Don't ask us why President George W. Bush felt the need to appear on Deal or No Deal this week. Maybe he thinks he's running for a third term.

God help us.

We haven't fully recovered yet from the injustice of Carly Smithson being voted off American Idol last night, but we'll try to remain strong and deliver a few other reality TV show recaps. To wit...

Big Brother: We found Sheila and Adam utterly charming together, especially when they were shackled after having lost the luxury comp. Sure, Sheila snapped at Adam incessantly â€" but seeing her crawl into bed with Adam while wearing nothing but her bra and panties was all the proof we needed to know that these truly liked and respected each other... -- Entertainment Weekly

After Michael Johns was eliminated from American Idol a few weeks ago, we figured we couldn't be surprised again by any results.

Consider us mistaken.

Carly Smithson was voted off the show last night, despite the fact that fellow finalist Brooke White flat out forgot the lyrics to her song the evening before. Smithson was joined in the bottom two by Syesha Mercado.

We've been huge fans of White all season, but come on. She deserved to go. You simply cannot make the sort of blunder she did on such a big stage.

Moreover, Smithson's rendition of "Jesus Christ Superstar" on Tuesday night was lively and well done.

Erin Toughill is one of the new star gearing up for the second season of American Gladiators. We already know she's gonna be tough to beat.

According to documents uncovered by TMZ, Toughhill allegedly beat husband Clark Bevans on their recent honeymoon. That's never an encouraging sign for a successful marriage.

Bevans, who filed a restraining order against Toughill last week, claims Toughill went "insane" with jealously, accusing him of being "a pedophile, sociopath and homosexual."

Erin Toughill practiced for her role on American Gladiators by supposedly beating her husband.

Aside from reportedly beating him on several occasions, Bevans says Toughill smashed the windshield of his RV. He also says Toughill "bodychecked, hockey style" a trainer at Gold's Gym he had dated years before.

On a related side note, both Toughill and Bevans are mixed martial arts fighters. Bevans has filed for annulment, though, because one battle he can't seem to win is the one with his new wife.

Sources say "Gladiators" producers were unaware of the hoo-ha between Toughill and her hubby.

Great news for Jeff Probst, Ryan Seacrest and company:

This year an Emmy Award will given out in a new category: outstanding host for a reality or reality competition program.

The award will first be presented at the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards, broadcast live September 21 on ABC.

"Reality television has become such an integral part of television and our culture, so it only made sense for us to create this new highly competitive category," Television Academy chairman and CEO John Shaffner said in a prepared statement.

Following their tirade against the judges Monday night - despite receiving a flurry of 8's - Derek Hough and Shannon Elizabeth were the subject of harsh words from others associated with Dancing with the Stars last night.

"I think it was a little bit in bad form," Len Goodman said of Hough's reaction. "I learned long ago, ‘Never knock the competition,' but in his defense, he's young, and we all say things in the heat of the moment."

Regarding Elizabeth's flood of tears, Bruno Tonioli added:

"Sometimes you get a little wound up, but the Niagara Falls, we had that when we gave her an eight! If we give her a five, what are you going to get? Commit suicide?! Hari-Kari?! Get over it!"

Even Cristian de la Fuente said of Hough: "He should probably learn to stay quiet. It's one thing to be angry at the judges and another thing to start talking about the other people here."

With American Idol on last night, it was easy to forget that A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila premiered its second season, while Hell's Kitchen continued to escalate Gordon Ramsay's blood pressure into dangerously high levels.
