Ambre Lake Speaks on Relationship with Bret Michaels
Now that Rock of Love 2 has wrapped up, winner Ambre Lake can finally speak out about dating Bret Michaels. Here are excerpts from a recent chat with VH1:
How has it been spending five months away from Bret? Do feelings change?
Absolutely not. We talked about that at great length. He told me, "Listen, we can't see each other. I'm not even supposed to call you. You need to know what you're up against." I told him that I knew what I signed up for. I'm a strong, confident woman. I'm not needy. Was it hard? Of course. But I feel like it was well worth it.
So you're every bit as in love with Bret as you were in Cancun?
Absolutely.
Did you speak with him during the time between the filming and the reunion?
He got in touch with me several times, and we saw each other. We spent time together and we talked about it, but it was good. I needed to see him. It was nice.
Where are you in your relationship now?
I'm dating Bret. I'm not disillusioned. I don't think we're going to run off and get married. We're dating and we're going to see how this dating process holds, because we were in Cancun, we were on these challenges, I was fighting for love. Now it's time to see how this works in the real world.

Well well ...cant see each other? im not even supposed to call you? you need to know what you are up against? I have been watching rock of love the past two and only two seasons to see what kind of woman Bret would choose to want to be with..I think this who reality thing sucks ass I really like Ambre and I think Bret is a descent person, but I think Bret needs to man up if he really loves or likes her and they need time together, if HE was FOR REAL about all this shit. or this is nothing but ROCK OF FAKE BULL SHIT... I am pretty irritated about this whole thing, I wont watch another one because it is fake..BRet come on man you have enough money to just be blunt about the situation and be TRUTHFUL to these ladies especially Ambre!! MAN UP MAN!!!!!!! and settle down before you start having to wear depends enjoy life with her I think you guys make an awesome unconventional couple!

hey man, dont knock on bret jst cause he cant see his woman, im sure that theres a CONTRACT tht say he'll get sued or smtnhg if he doesnt abide by it! did u ever think of tht? I LOVE BRET MICHAELS!! i hope tht he really did find love cause he needs it, everyone does.

I wish them luck, but I think Ambre is up against alot...Lets face it Brett can have anyone he wants...Can you find love on a tv show...of course if they just don't click...ROCK OF LUV 3...Right.

I think they will last there should NOT be a Rock of Love 3 no matter what anyone says they are made for each other. I believe they will last and they will get married.

Ny and Tailor Made ignored the rules and moved in together in New York City THREE DAYS after the program ended! Did I read something about a law suit in these posts? LOL NOBODY tells NY what to do, not even a legally bindng contract it would seem.

I just saw Bret on "Don't Forget the Lyrics", tonight April 31, 2008, and he is not with Ambre Lake. He's got some old hag with dark hair, and some guy with him.
Makes me wonder if he'll ever get it right. I think Ambre is very cool, and if he would 'grow up' and act his age, instead of his IQ, he just might find she is the real thin.

Like OMG I just LOVE Ambre Lake, she is totally awesome for Brett...Brett is like the coolest rock star ever and he deserves the coolest hottie, which is totally Ambre! I feel liek I know these two pretty well from watching the show, this relationship is fierce and is totally gonna last, Go Brett and Ambre Hehee lol!!

I think this whole Rock of Love thing is crap. It just shows what a jerk he is. First of all you don't find love in a house full of naked women and have them fighting for you. He is a father for crying out loud. His kids must be so proud of him.. NOT! I know lots of rockers.. My whole life and I always said do not date them they are all jerks and think they are God or something. I really liked Jess from Rock of Love 1. But she was way to good for him anyway. Rock of Love 2 sucked. It just made him look even more like a male slut and he has issues with women who strip. He is no better. If he does a Rock of Love 3 I will not be watching. It's gotten old already. It's obvious that his intentions are money and sex he is not interested in love. He needs to be thinking about his children and whats in their best interest. GROW UP BRETT!

Your not that talented. Your time is up. Soon you will be touring with 38 Special and all those old bands that are still trying to make money. Give it up. Take care of your kids. Stop acting like your in your 20's. Spend time with your kids. As far as I can see your a horrible father. What do they get from you a check once a month. I'v go to tell you I did't miss one episode of Rock of Love. And I loved every one. I was also happy with the decision you made by picking Ambre. I think she was the best on for you. You're awesome and i'lll keep on listening to your amazing voice!!!

ARE U SERIOUS!!! Another Rock of Love 3. Ok thats it, not watching it cause now this is stupid. Why keep picking people that are just as busy as you are. This is ridiculous. Ambre is/was a great pick.
Brett keeps going wrong cause he picks Blondes.(nothing against them but come on) Maybe thats the problem. Try a Brunette or a African American chic. That man needs to step away from his comfort zone of Blonde hair blue eyed women.
