Stacey Elza on The Bachelor, "Panty-Gate"

Stacey Elza said she was "definitely that girl" - on ABC's The Bachelor who drinks too much and leaves the first night with a hangover instead of a rose.

"I'd like to say I think all of us have partied that hard - the difference is that I got caught on national television doing it," Elza said.

"It was a combo of nerves and not eating much that day. I started to drink a little champagne earlier in the day... I don't remember much. You guys watching the show was a surprise to you as much as it was to me. I was definitely that girl."

The 26-year-old graduate student from Chicago was one of 10 bachelorettes ousted by Matt Grant during The Bachelor: London Calling's premiere.

Stacey Elza

While in her inebriated state, Stacey Elza provided one of the show's top moments when she slipped a pair of panties into the British star's pocket.

"I just wanted to spice things up a little bit - put the attention on me, which I sure did. I'm very spontaneous - outgoing - I figured why not?" she told reporters, saying the move was something she previously considered.

"But at that particular moment it was on a whim," Stacey Elza said. "For the record - I know everyone wants to know this - they were an extra pair.  They did not literally come off my body."

The gesture wasn't appreciated by Matt Grant, who commented he didn't "give a s**t what country you're from... that is not cool."

"But that's okay," said Stacey Elza of Grant's reaction. "He wasn't my type going in, so I figured anything I do isn't going to hurt me any ways."

Andy Baldwin in South Pacific, Not Iraq

It was widely reported that former star of The Bachelor, US Navy Lt. Andy Baldwin, was doing his patriotic duty by fighting in Iraq.

But it turns out it's not true - instead, Andy Baldwin was in the South Pacific! No, not competing on Survivor, people. Get real.

TMZ reports that the ex-fiance of Tessa Horst was part of a recovery team doing an underwater excavation of a B-24J bomber that went down in WWII.

That's code for a government sponsored scuba vacation!

Too bad Matt Grant and his babes couldn't tag along.

Here's a photo of Andy Baldwin shirtless ... and hot!

Lauren Conrad Takes Issue with Celebrity News Headline

With the return of The Hills just a few days away, its beautiful star, Lauren Conrad, is taking issue with Us Weekly and its lead story.

The magazine's article on LC proclaims that Lauren was "betrayed" by both her friend Audrina Patridge and her ex-boyfriend, Brody Jenner.

LC went on her MySpace page to clarify her thoughts ...

"Hey! I just wanted to take a moment to clear something up. I recently did an interview to talk about the show coming back and what everyone had to look forward to. Unfortunately it was turned into yet another "poor me" story. The article itself is a nice one but it follows headlines that, in no way, represent my words or feelings.

Audrina and Lauren

I do not feel betrayed by Audrina or Brody. I love them both and said nothing to contradict this. I understand that headlines sell magazines, but I value my friendships above magazine sales any day. On a more positive note, I got to see some of the first episode yesterday and it looks amazing. I'm sooooooo excited for everyone to see Paris. Best wishes and I hope everyone tunes in Monday."

Lauren Conrad, Lauren Bosworth Love the Chase

Lauren Conrad and Lauren Bosworth appeared on Ryan Seacrest's radio show today and talked about dating. The rest speaks for itself.

"Why don't you like sweet guys?" Ryan Seacrest asked The Hills stars.

"They're not as fun!" Conrad said.

Pal Lauren Bosworth (a.k.a. Lo) agreed.

"Sweet boys can be, like, filler," Lo said.

The 22-year-old Lauren Conrad and the 21-year-old Lauren Bosworth admit that they get "easily bored" and believe dating is all "about the chase."

"You want the game to be played," Conrad said. "You don't want to have a great time and him to call you right after!"

"It's weak to text," Lauren Conrad adds.

American Idol host Seacrest, who said Conrad is "tragic in [the dating] department," asked, "What's with you and falling for these guys?"

LC replied, "I have no idea!"

Tiffany Pollard: Already Acting

As previously reported, New York Goes to Hollywood has been confirmed by VH1. The new reality show will be based around the plans of Tiffany Pollard to become a serious actress.

Turns out, however, that the woman known as New York already has a bit of acting experience. She just finished a brief sting in the cast of Relationship Games, a play about three men and three women engaged in the game of love.

Pollard Picture

Pollard participated in the play, which ran at the Arie Crown Theatre on Lake Shore Drive over the weekend, for two nights. She took on the role of Jacqueline, a fierce beauty from Chicago's South Side.

"I think every woman can relate to being like Jacqueline at some point in their life, so it is fun for me to be her and rehearse as Jacqueline, because I can relate and I know every woman can relate," Pollard said.

"Jacqueline is definitely strong enough to stand on her own, so I just want everyone to see her for who she is â€" her struggle, where she is trying to go in life."

On American Idol: Cheers for Kellie Pickler, Tears for Carly Smithson

Here's a behind the scenes look at last night's American Idol results show, courtesy of People Magazine...

Kellie PicklerAt the pre-show taping of season five favorite Kelly Pickler's performance of "Red High Heels," Ryan Seacrest jokingly reminded everyone just how much she has "grown in so many ways since leaving us." That's a boob job joke, people.

The former finalist came out to cheers in her conservative red dress â€" a contrast from her signature low-cut tops â€" and had the Idols, especially country crooner Kristy Lee Cook, rocking away!

The crowd loved the performance and got out of their seats to show it. Afterward Pickler humbly greeted fans in the pit, saying, "How are ya?" before shaking hands and waving goodbye. Later, still in her red dress, Pickler hung out off to the side with producer Nigel Lythgoe, watching the show on the monitor and discussing the recap of the previous night's performances.

Smithson Moved to Tears
When Ryan announced that strong-voiced Carly Smithson was in the bottom three, many jaws dropped. Carly began crying. D

uring the break, a sympathetic Seacrest made his way over to hug and comfort her, along with Debbie the stage manager. Then David Archuleta, Brooke White and Nigel Lythgoe went over to see if they could cheer her up.

Finally the fans got into it, yelling out words of encouragement to the Idol and succeeded â€" she smiled!

America's Next Top Model Photo: Fatima with Face Paint

On last night's episode of America's Next Top Model, the contestants had their faces painted. Below is a shot of Fatima, an early favorite... except for the fact that Tyra Banks criticized her for having hairy arm pits.

Ouch.

Mary Delgado, Byron Velvick Still Goin' Strong

The former star of The Bachelor, Byron Velvick, and his fiance, Mary Delgado, have moved past a 2007 fight that resulted in a jailed Delgado.

"We're going day by day, on our own time," the pro fisherman, 43, says of life with his fiancée in the newest issue of Us Weekly.

Aren't they sweet? Matt Grant can only aspire to such bliss on The Bachelor ...

Byron Velvick, Mary Delgado

Byron Velvick and Mary Delgado are one of the more successful couples to appear on The Bachelor. That's not saying a lot, however.

The pair, who got engaged after she won the final rose in 2004, are going strong in spite of a Thanksgiving fight â€" Mary wanted to stay out later, Byron was ready to call it a night â€" that resulted in Delgado being arrested.

Battery charges against her were later dropped.

You weather through stuff, work harder," Velvick says, "and you come to a better understanding if the love is real.

Adds Mary Delgado: "He's awesome."

Reality TV Recaps: America's Next Top Model, Top Chef

Here's a look at what happened on two of the country's most popular reality shows last night. One based around fashion and cat-fighting, the other based around culinary delights... and cat-fighting.
