Reality TV Recaps: Make Me a Supermodel, Celebrity Apprentice

Once again, there was no Survivor last night, due to the NCAA Tournament on CBS. But there were other reality shows, namely an episode of Make Me a Supermodel and The Celebrity Apprentice. Let's see what went down on them...

Make Me a Supermodel: The ten previously eliminated models are in lock-down, and only recently have they been able to see the show. Most were surprised at how they were portrayed, and Dominic is complaining about the shoes he had to wear on the runway. Carry a grudge much, Dom? - Reality TV Magazine

Celebrity Apprentice: On this season of Celebrity Apprentice, the competition, for the most part, kind of took a back seat to the "reality" of the show and the best parts involved the clash of personalities on screen. But anyone who watched Celebrity Apprentice can attest that the contestants gave ample effort, especially deeper into the season, and last night was no exception. - TV Squad

Record Ratings For The Hills Premiere

The season premiere of The Hills, "Paris Changes Everything," was the highest rated episode of the series in its three-plus season history, according to MTV.

With about 4.7 million viewers Monday, the premiere of the Lauren Conrad-led reality show was the most watched program across all of TV for viewers aged 12 to 34 in its time slot, and the highest rated cable telecast of 2008 so far.

An additional 1.8 million streams were delivered on Tuesday by MTV.com. It is more and more clear that The Hills is MTV's cash cow these days!

Chikezie Eliminated on American Idol

After an uneven performance of Brenda Russell's ballad "If Only for One Night," Tuesday, Chikezie Eze was eliminated from American Idol last night.

Joining Chikezie in the American Idol bottom three (the lowest vote-getters) on Wednesday were Syesha Mercado and, in a bit of a surprise, Jason Castro...

Chikezie and Friends

Chopping block regular Kristy Lee Cook was surprised and happy to escape the bottom three this week after a strong effort on "God Bless the U.S.A."

That leaves us with nine. Who's your pick to go all the way on American Idol - and should Chikezie have been sent home last night?

Monica Seles and Penn Jillette Discuss Dancing With the Stars Highlights, Departure

Tennis legend Monica Seles felt that she was at a Dancing With the Stars disadvantage before the sixth season of the show even started.

"I think it's so early in the show, I was definitely at a disadvantage because I have no acting experience and this show is about being a dancer and an actress," Seles said during a Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance that followed her elimination from Dancing with the Stars the previous evening.

"I didn't have either, and I think that really hurt me because I just could not sell the performance. I never missed a step, but yet I couldn't actually sell the storyline," the nine-time Grand Slam winner admitted.

The opposite could be said for Penn Jillette, who was also ousted from Dancing with the Stars as part of the show's first double elimination.

"I want to be honest. I tried as hard as I could. Anything you saw that was goofy there was me trying as hard as I could," said Jillette."I promised myself and all my friends, 'I'm not going to in any way be ironic. I'm going to try 100 percent.' I really did.  I want to make that clear - it's not a cop out - that was as good as I could do. I lost fair and square."

"A part of me's disappointed," said Seles, who teamed with Jonathan Roberts. "Another part of me's relieved that I don't have to [rehearse anymore]."

"I was sure I was going all the way. I get up every morning, I strip naked, I look in the mirror and I say, 'Dancer!'" joked Jillette.

"The fall up the stairs last night was on purpose. I did it in rehearsal.  But the funny one - the one with the banner - 100 percent real," he said. "[Kym Johnson] laughed for two full minutes before she said, 'Are you okay?'"

Seles and Roberts, along with Penn Jillette and Kym Johnson, were ousted because they both had the lowest scores among the six celebrity participants of their gender, based on the judges' scores from last Monday night's performance, this Monday night and home viewer votes cast following both broadcasts.

Andy Baldwin and Marla Maples Reportedly Dating

The former star of The Bachelor, Andy Baldwin, didn't need the hit ABC show to find his future mate. Well, none of the Bachelor stars seem to.

Since returning from a military mission in Palau, the naval doctor, 31, has been "quietly dating" Donald Trump's ex, Marla Maples, 44.

The two took a romantic getaway to the Hawaiian island of Lanai over Easter weekend, an inside source tells Us Weekly.

They first met last year, says the source, and even spent New Year's together. Adds the insider, "He is inspired by her."

Reality TV Recaps: America's Next Top Model, Big Brother

Below are highlights from some of last night's popular reality TV shows, courtesy of a pair of our online, reality TV-obsessed counterparts ...

On Big Brother, the motto is to expect the unexpected. Tonight was a good example of why we enjoy the reality TV genre. You never know what's going to be said or what will happen. Tonight's episode will go down in the classics of the Big Brother annals. We don't necessarily agree or like everything which was said or happened. But tonight was legendary. - TV Squad

On America's Next Top Model, Claire struggled with connecting to a country music look. Aimee had a difficult time with the sensual aspect of her R&B character. Fatima and Stacy Ann worried more about posing than looking natural. Strong performances were given by Dominique, Whitney, and Katarzyna. - BuddyTV

Tyra Banks Express Rolls On... For Now

Amid reports that she is leaving America's Next Top Model, Tyra Banks was all smiles Wednesday, filming a car commercial in New York City with singer Toni Braxton (not pictured). What do you think? Is Tyra leaving the show?

Banks, Baby

Tyra Banks is rumored to be stepping down from America's Next Top Model.

Who Will Be Voted Off American Idol Tonight?

Big night tonight. Only 10 American Idol hopefuls are remaining, and after last night's performance by rocker David Cook, we imagine he (along with David Archuleta and Michael Johns) will last at least another week.

The rest of the gang, though? That we're not sure about!

The American Idol Final 10

Somebody's gotta get the boot tonight, and in our minds it will boil down to one of four - Jason Castro, Chikezie, Syesha Mercado and Ramiele Malubay.

Something tells us these four singers are more vulnerable then the other six, although Americans make that call, and they've shocked us many times before.

Who do you think will be the top and bottom vote-getters when American Idol announces its results tonight - and who will be heading for home?

Spencer Pratt: The Advice Column

You asked for it, and now you've got it. Okay, so there's no way you asked for this. But guess what, you're getting it anyway. Sorry, reality TV fans!

As we reported last week, Spencer Pratt got his own advice column for Radar Magazine. Just in case you haven't gotten enough of him on The Hills.

Click the link here for the full version. Excerpt below ...

YO SPENCER! I just started dating this guy who I really like. The other night, we went out and got hammered. I ended up passing out in his bed. When I woke up, I discovered that I had wet the bed. I was so embarrassed that I left while he was still asleep. If I call him, do I have to apologize or can I pretend it never happened? Or do I have to wait for him to call me?

Spencer

The incomparable Spencer Pratt is all-knowing.

Spencer Pratt: Wow! This is not a situation you want to find yourself in. I would never want to be with a girl who gets so wasted that she's pissing in bed. It's time to sign up for AA, my dear, because drunks are not sexy. Regardless, if the guy's really cool, he might understand. Best bet is to be honest and tell him it was the drunkest you've ever been and that it was a huge mistake and it'll never happen again.

YO SPENCER! I've met my girlfriend's mother once and she really didn't like me. We're going to spend the weekend with her whole family and I need to win her over. What can I do to charm her?

Spencer Pratt: The mother-daughter relationship is the tightest bond in history. You got beef with the mom, you got beef with the daughter. I would definitely say that when I first met [Heidi Montag's] mother, she wasn't sure of me. I wasn't on my game plan. If I could've done it over, I would've bought her mom chocolate and flowers. You need to be at your best in terms of manners, language.

Dancing With the Stars: Using Outside Choreographers?

Think all those performances on Dancing with the Stars are arranged by the professional dancers, like Cheryl Burke? Think again, according to a new report.

Spies say that many of the DWTS routines are arranged by outside choreographers, especially when it comes to the "younger, less experienced" professional dancers, like Burke, Kym Johnson, Derek Hough, and his sister Julianne.

The show makes it appear as if the professional partners create all the moves for the celeb contestants - but that's just not the case.

All that rehearsal video can be a little deceptive.

One source says that "Cheryl Burke is the worst" when it comes to arranging her own material on Dancing With the Stars and "relies heavily on outside help."

There are also reports that one of the professional choreographers - Wendy Johnson - worked on the dance that won Drew Lachey the title.

For the record, Cheryl Burke's rep says that any insinuation that she gets outside help is a blatant lie, adding that Wendy Johnson is actually a very good friend of Cheryl's - she's known her since she was 11 or 12-years-old.

Also, the rep says, Cheryl Burke "spends Tuesday night choreographing her routines in her apartment." In any case, an ABC source says it's not against the rules for the dancers to use outside help, so it doesn't really matter. Just interesting.
