Get to Know a Flavor of Love Girl: Shy

Is Shy the next New York?

After one episode of Flavor of Love 3, this fairly insane contestant is earning comparisons with Tiffany Pollard. Her response to that?

"People say I remind them of a betta version of New York. But did u c my weave though how could u compare me to her stop playin," she said, or perhaps wrote in broken English, to Buddy TV.

One way we can compare these ladies is through their unusual levels of confidence. After all, here's how Shy describes herself:

"I Grew up as an awesome, Curious, Ambitious, child destiny for greatness , daughter of a Preacher. I am a masterpiece."

Shy

Okay then. What kind of masterpiece is she specifically? "I'm a ‘Renaissance Woman': I rap, sing, dance, act, model t.v host and do comedy… dont forget tap dance jus playing lol."

Does this mean Shy has ambitions outside of a life with Flavor Flav? Yes. She isn't, well, shy about wanting to break into the entertainment world:

"Super Star! YES SIR! I'AM CHI TOWN! I DO IT ALL WHATEVER U NEED FROM ACTING TO MUSIC TO DANCE I DO IT ALL"

We can see the name of her reality show now: Are You a Shy Guy?

Deal or No Deal Models: Hard at Work!

What, you think it's easy to hold a suitcase on the game show Deal or No Deal?

As a recent New York Times article detailed, the modeling job on this series isn't nearly as simple as it looks on TV:

For the 26 women who take the stage each week on the NBC hit game show, life is not all glamour and sequins and witty repartee with the host, Howie Mandel.

At a taping in mid-January, for instance, there was the 14-hour workday, 8 ½ hours of which involved some or all of the models standing on an Arctic-like soundstage in short, short sleeveless dresses and four-inch heels.

The models are a popular part of this game show that "has no trivia, no stunts, no skill," as Mr. Mandel put it. "The first time I heard about it, I thought, there's no game."One television critic, Phil Rosenthal of The Chicago Tribune, put it less delicately, calling the program an elaborate version of "How many fingers do I have behind my back?"

Spencer Pratt: Heidi Montag's Next Video will Blow... Your Mind

Simply the Worst We have a feeling any music from Heidi Montag will blow chunks far more than it will blow anyone's mind.

But Spencer Pratt claims that the next video from his awful girlfriend will "blow people's minds very soon," and that it will be released "within the month."

Thank goodness. We haven't had anything to mock this couple for in hours.

Montag told People magazine she's been eagerly plugging away at her musical career, working in the studio "every night for about two months." The next song will sound different than her previous, abysmal effort, "Higher."

"It's all different," Montag said. "There's some edgier stuff, they're some fun dance tracks â€" it's everything. It's definitely going to be different than what everyone suspects."

As for her influences, Heidi mentioned Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Christina Aguilera and, well, the Beatles. Of course.

"I feel like all artists inspire music in one way or another," The Hills star profoundly said.

The Bachelor, Matt Grant, is Serious About Family

ABC's upcoming star of The Bachelor, Matt Grant, is looking for love... and a wife, and the mother of his future children.

Matt Grant, 27, has a very close relationship with his father and credits him as being part of the reason he's in such a rush to start a family.

"My dad had a stroke at the end of 2006 and that really shook me. I want my kids to know my dad, because he was a great father and I want him to be a grandfather to them. I wouldn't mind having three or four kids," he told OK! Magazine.

Other than his accent, which he calls "geeky," Matt Grant doesn't see too much of a difference between British men and American men.

There are a few things that set them apart, though.

"We drink more tea and have crazy sports like cricket. I like to consider myself a British gentleman," he said.

Twenty-five lucky aspiring trophy wives will get to meet this British gentleman when The Bachelor returns to ABC on Monday, March 17.

Reality TV Recaps: Big Brother 9, The Biggest Loser

We got to know the new house guests on Big Brother 9's season premiere last night, while the folks on The Biggest Loser continued their weight-dropping ways.

Here are a pair of recaps:

The Biggest Loser: Everyone on Team Black was appalled that Jackie got ejected last week - Mark and Jay went back on their word! The fiends! Yes, they should have just been up-front about what they were planning. But the amount of self-righteous anger oozing off Team Black was over the top. -- Zap2It

America's Next Top Model Spoilers for Season 10

566_americas_next_top_model_468.jpg Thanks to Kristin of E! Online, here's a quick glance at the next season of American's Next Top Model. In response to a question about how good the new cycle of the series looks, Kristin replied:

They've actually already wrapped production on the 10th season. Spies tell me the new season is über-juicy because, according to someone who works on the show, "Let's just say they're casting the girls more for their drama than their looks." Meow!

I've seen those huge billboards and I have to say, I'd love to see who they turned down (Gisele?! Heidi Klum?!). Still, it is more dramatic than ever. In the premiere (mild spoiler alert!), Tyra makes the ladies go to prep school, and in the first round alone there's a screaming match, an almost catfight and a whole slew of haters tryin' to take down a returning player.

Oh, and did I mention one of the wannabes is Muhammad Ali's niece? Also, look for new judge Paulina Porizkova to provide far more bite than meek Miss Twiggy did... As Tyra would say, she's fierce.

Denise Richards Reality Show Receives Green Light

denise-blog.jpg Seriously, folks, who on earth cares about what Denise Richards does on a daily basis?

At least Kim Kardashian has no discernible skills other than the possession of large breasts, so why not put her on reality TV? But Richards has been in a handful of movies. She could continue to make a decent career out of that.

Instead, the actress and single mom is set to star an untitled E! series which will follow her around as she "navigates Hollywood, romance and motherhood."

The show, which is being produced by Ryan Seacrest's company, will debut in the summer and make us incredibly nauseous every time it's mentioned.

"The show will give viewers an inside look at what it's like for Denise to go through these ups and downs while always in the public eye," said Lisa Berger, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Series Development for E!, in a statement. "At the core of this series is a resilient single mom who is trying to get her life back on track."

No it's not! It's just an incredibly rich actress desperate for attention!!!

Please, people, do not give it to her.
