- Jim, a 21-year-old computer programmer/student from Bedford, MA
- Joe, a 24-year-old TV assignment editor from Nipomo, CA
- John E., a 25-year-old CW-billed "recovering Microsoft addict" from Tempe, AZ

How can someone who can't hear music perform on Dancing with the Stars? Actress Marlee Matlin will answer that question this season. And right now:
"So much will depend on me being in synch with my partner with my eyes, with my arms, with my legs," the 42-year-old Oscar winner told People. "Plus ⦠sign language has given me a an internal metronome."
This innate rhythm - along with two powerful hearing aids - will assist Matlin in her quest for a Dancing title. Her pro partner will also help a lot.
"My partner, Fabian Sanchez, is Latin. And as any one can tell you, Latins speak with their hands, their bodies. He's great," she said. "We use a combination of lip reading (he's easy to follow even if he has a slight accent), signing (the first sign he learned was "again" â" he uses it a lot) and an interpreter."
So, does the deaf actress has any history with the mambo? Or the paso doble?
"I've had no formal dance training. Though I did a little dance in Children Of A Lesser God, that was improvised," Matlin said. "But I figure that I'm ready in that I communicate with my body when I sign and dance is a lot like that. ⦠Right now I'm not terrified of Latin dances; I've got a Latin partner and he's a Mambo champion! I've already begun the Cha Cha and I love it!"
Last year, you may recall, former Laguna Beach star Jason Wahler got popped in four different states on charges ranging from underage drinking to assault and hurling racial epithets at a cop. Then he went to rehab.

Well, that's up for debate after a story broke that Jason Wahler has been banned from his college fiancee's apartment at USC!
The reason? Wahler's use of racial slurs against a security guard at Conquest's Tuscany, the complex where Katja Decker-Sadowski lives.
Accounts of this recent Jason Wahler story vary.
A witness: "He called him the N word."
A Conquest rep: "Jason Wahler's racist remarks were uncalled for. He is no longer welcome in the building."
Jason Wahler: "None of this happened."
Well, no matter who you believe, all we can say is that you did the right thing dumping him, Lauren Conrad. Even if it took two tries.

A few American Idol women suffered through the flu last night, as Kristy Lee Cook and Joanne Borgella seemed particularly affected by sickness.
Still, this group of 12 easily outperformed its male counterparts from the evening before. We could choose from an array of solid auditions, but have tried to stick with our two favorites below. Along with the obvious selection of the worst from the night...
And the worst...
On top of her crappy music, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt apparently have all sorts of interesting new pursuits lined up.
"We're definitely developing the Heidi and Spencer video game," Pratt told Us Weekly last week at video game giant Electronic Arts' Burnout Paradise pre-Valentine's Day lounge in Los Angeles, Calif.
Spencer Pratt, who said he is collaborating with EA on the game, said that the game "is top secret. But let's just say that everyone will be addicted."
Good news, though, for all of you fans-non-fans of The Hills couple:
"You can definitely play as us or you can play against us," Pratt said.
"You can even torture me!"
Well, if you insist.
"Just be ready, that's all I have to say."

Most men are glad that Mandy Lynn did not win the title of America's Most Smartest Model.
If this reality TV star has earned that crown, perhaps she would not have time to continually pose in Playboy. As it stands now, however, the vixen will be gracing the pages of Hugh Hefner's publication once again, this time appearing in the Grapevine section.
"This month be sure to look for me in Playboy Magazine in the Grapevine section!," Mandy Lynn wrote on her MySpace blog. "Playboy was kind enough to show support for me being eliminated on America's Most Smartest Model so check that outâ¦"
Mandy Lynn has appeared in several of Playboy's Special Edition releases already.
She's also a model for Destroyed Denim, which "makes hot ripped and bleached up jeans for girls and guys, as well as vintage rocker style shirts, hoodies and beaters."
That sounds nice and all. But we'd really prefer to see Mandy wearing nothing at all.

E! has set a date for the return of the reality series that follows the everyday lives of the useless Kardashian family.
The second season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will premiere on Sunday, March 9 at 10 p.m.
In a sad commentary on America, Keeping Up with the Kardashians regularly won its time slot among women 18-34 during its pilot season, which gave the network enough reason to renew the reality series for yet another run.
Fans can look forward to eight new episodes, kicking off with its premiere installment called "Kim Becomes a Diva." Are they claiming Kim Kardashian was not already a diva?!?
"The buzz surrounding the series is huge, and viewers have clearly fallen for the Kardashians," said Lisa Berger, E!'s executive vice president of programming and development.
Get ready for I Love New York 3, folks!
No, the relationship between Tiffany Pollard and Tailor Made (George Weisgerber) isn't on the rocks. A third season of this reality show, reports The New York Daily News, would focus on Pollard's move to Hollywood instead of another dating competition.
"The season is going to be called New York Loves Hollywood and will follow her attempt to become an actress in Los Angeles," says an insider.
"They are currently trying to cast established industry people in Hollywood to be on the show with her."
