Jaslene Gonzalez, the winner of season eight of America's Next Top Model, is using her fame for causes she believes in.
The beauty recently headed to Washington, DC to host The CW Washington DC "Teens Count" High School Fashion Battle.
The event is a fashion show competition in which local high schools compete for prizes, including a trip to meet Kimora Lee Simmons. The benefit also honors a non-profit organization whose mission is to provie rewarding experiences for local area youth who are interested in pursuing a career in the performing arts.
While Gonzalez took on the hosting duties, the judging was handled by singer/actress Taraji Henson of Hustle and Flow fame, and Paul Wharton, whose credits include MTV's Made and VH-1's The Agency.

That was a great event. Jaslene Gonzalez and Paul Wharton were totally fabulous. At one point they were back to back standing and working the crowd. Paul gave out some free memberships to his website Evolutionlook.com
