We hope you enjoyed Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Dancing with the Stars this season. And why is that?

Because you won't be seeing him on the reality competition again.

As relayed to TV Guide, Maks said "the 25 million viewers are going to remember me whether I'm there or not," referring to his decision to skip out on season six, which begins in March.

So, why would Chmerkovskiy abandom the show that made him famous in the first place? He actually blames the seedy Hollywood scene.

"This is a very lucrative world," he said. "And I spent some time here just looking around and going, ‘Wow, this is an amazing house.' But I'm a very analytical person. And right away, I looked past the curtains and I saw the drugs and the difficult lifestyles and the failed marriages. And I saw absolutely no family values â€" and that is the most important thing."

Any chance he was referring to Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough supposedly dating? Helio had been engaged, after all.

We'll never know, but Maksim was at least clear that he loves his last two partners on the show: Laila Ali and Melanie Brown.

"It's really important to me to maintain the relationship after the show," he said. "With Laila, I love her. But it didn't work because she's a very private, very reserved person. But this season, with Mel, this is a person I'll be able to call any time and say, ‘Hey, I'm in town. Let's have dinner.'"

With all the drama on The Hills, it's a wonder the girls have time to work out. Well, Lauren Conrad does, and takes it seriously - she's made the cover of Shape!

You know that somewhere, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have already begun scheming as to how they can score the next two covers of Shape Magazine.

With all this talk about Julianne Hough and Helio Castroneves dating, it's easy to forget the first couple of Dancing with the Stars:

Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff are still going strong, as proven below with the two making waves during their Mexican getaway to Punta Mita on Saturday.

Before Jennie Finch first enters the board room on the celebrity edition of The Apprentice, let's take a moment to get to know this softball star a bit better:

• Finch is married to Major League Baseball player Casey Daigle, who most recently played on the Arizona Diamondbacks.

• Sadly, she turned down a massive offer to appear in Playboy. Talk her into it, Amanda Beard!

• She has appeared in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition.

• She currently works for ESPN, which is owned by ABC.

• She's gorgeous!!!!!!!!!

NBC has announced fifth edition of The Biggest Loser will premiere with a two-hour episode on Tuesday, January 1, just two weeks after the finale broadcast of its currently-airing fourth installment.

NBC's decision to debut The Biggest Loser 5 as primetime midseason programming represents the first time the network has aired two regular The Biggest Loser editions in the same television season.  This is most likely to due to the ongoing writers' strike.

Also for the first time in the show's history, The Biggest Loser's fifth-season contestants will compete while paired in teams with somebody they have a pre-existing relationship with (such as a family member, friend or coworker).

Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels will both return for the show's fifth edition; however Kim Lyons-- who replaced Michaels as the Red Team's trainer prior to the show's third season - will not.
