Julianne Hough: Just Friends with Helio Castroneves

Julianne Hough is aware of the rumors surrounding herself and Helio Castroneves, but the back-to-back Dancing with the Stars champion is quick to dismiss any notion of romance between the two.

“Oh my gosh! No!” Hough told People magazine this week when asked about the relationship. “I love Helio like he is my brother. We are the best of friends.”

Jennie Garth, meanwhile, puts things in perspective when talking about the reasons why Hough is so often linked with her Dancing with the Stars partners.

“When Julianne Hough dances she can have chemistry with a broomstick,” the actress said.

We can’t argue with that.

Mike Super: Looking Toward the Future

Now that he’s won this year’s Phenomenon, Mike Super is looking to the future. And he’s quite excited about it.

“I’m currently working on a possible Vegas deal. I’ve even been offered some small movie parts which I’d love to do as well!” Super recetly told NBC. “But for right now, I’ll definitely be pursuing my own magic series on TV… I have a concept that is completely fresh and has never been done. I’m really excited about it!”

Super also talked about his experience on the reality competition.

“I made lifelong friends with the cast and the crew, and I got to reach millions of people with my performances! The cast and crew are now legitimately a part of my life and I’m really thankful for that,” he said.

“It was something I wasn’t expecting. From the executive producers down to the cast, everyone was down to earth and we became an all around family! It was a blessing to be involved in this show simply because of the people I’ve met and can now call my friends.”

DeAnna Pappas Tells Her Side of the Story

We heard from Brad Womack earlier. Now it’s time to hear what DeAnna Pappas - one of the two women he shockingly rejected on The Bachelor finale - has to say about the ordeal. Here are excerpts from an interview she did with BuddyTV …

BuddyTV: Now how long into the process did you really start to think that things could be serious with Brad Womack?

DeAnna Pappas: I knew from the first moment that I sat down and talked to Brad that we had a very strong connection. I truly felt that I was meant to be with this person. But it wasn’t until he went to my hometown and Brad got to meet my family, that I realized I was actually falling in love with him.

DeAnna Pappas was rejected by Brad Womack at the last minute.

BuddyTV: Have you guys had any contact since?

DeAnna Pappas: I have had contact with Brad. Yes.

BuddyTV: There’s a lot of rumors going around as to why he pick either of you. Do you, at this point, have any idea as to why he opted out?

DeAnna Pappas: I do, and I don’t believe any of the rumors. I don’t listen to them because I know that Brad is very genuine. He is a great person and one of the most amazing men I’ve ever met. I truly believe he just got completely confused.

BuddyTV: Do you have any sympathetic feelings toward Jenni Croft?

DeAnna Pappas: Of course. Jenni is a great person with a big heart. And to see her standing there smiling, I mean, I don’t feel like she had any clue that he wasn’t going to pick her, and my heart just went out to her.

Brad Womack Explains Nixing Jenni Croft, DeAnna Pappas

In the now-infamous final rose ceremony on the November 19 season finale of The Bachelor, Austin, Texas bar entrepreneur Brad Womack made reality TV history when he shockingly kissed both of the show’s finalists… goodbye.

Both DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft were stunned by the move - along with millions of viewers of The Bachelor watching at home.

Brad Womack offered vague explanations in a special after-show, but this week, he told Us Weekly the real reason he let both of the ladies go.

“[DeAnna Pappas] and I had something that’s pretty special. But I did not see this crazy love that would turn into a lifetime,” says a single Brad.

Brad Womack: The Bachelor

Brad Womack: Still single and trying to explain his dubious actions.

“I’m looking for the same things that I said all along — a best friend, a life-long partner and someone to fall madly in love with,” Womack said. “I didn’t want to lead anybody on. I was very honest with both of the ladies about that.”

Brad had no comment on a recent story by E! Online insinuating that he really wanted Bettina Bell, but knew it wouldn’t work after a bad family visit.

At least Jenni Croft has already moved on. That much we know.

The Hills Season Finale Extravaganza Planned

The third-season finale of The Hills on December 10 will be only a small part of a big two-day, season-ending event that MTV is planning for its reality TV hit.

MTV will present The Hills Finale: Live in Hollywood, broadcast live from L.A. hot spot Area, beginning at 8 p.m. The finale itself airs at 10, followed by a live after-show, during which Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port and Audrina Patridge will answer questions, then make “an announcement that will leave fans wanting more.”

The Hills Trio

Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port and Lauren Conrad of The Hills.

The season finale celebration will actually begin the day before, when MTV airs a special called The Hills: Lauren Looks Back, beginning at 12 p.m. ET.

Described as a “video scrapbook” of Lauren Conrad’s life from her time at Laguna Beach High to her life today, it will feature LC talking about past friendships and boyfriends, from Stephen Colletti to Jason Wahler to Brody Jenner.

This is one event not to be missed on The Hills!

We just are waiting for Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag to crash the stage during the after-show and hose down LC and pals with water guns. Or something.

Joey Fatone: Melanie Brown Got Robbed!

Before Joey Fatone blows a lung over how badly both himself and Melanie Brown got robbed on Dancing with the Stars, allow us to remind him:

You both dance professionally for a living! You never should have been allowed on the show!

Not that that’s out of our system, here’s what Fatone has to say about this year’s Dancing with the Stars results:

“I got robbed, I got robbed! I know I got robbed. I think Mel B. got robbed too,” the Singing Bee host said, mostly in a good-natured tone. “I think Mel should’ve won.”

And why should Brown, who also came in second, have finished first? Because of “her charisma and everything else. I think she did a really fantastic job, and Helio Castroneves did an amazing job as well, but you see where she came a lot out of her shell.”

As for where he watched this week’s finale, he said: “I was actually at Southern Hospitality, Justin [Timberlake]’s spot. Him and a friend of mine, Aton, who owns the restaurant, went out over there with friends and family in town - so it was kind of a nice get-together. Like, 20 of my friends and cousins and stuff.”

Heidi Montag to Debut New Fashion Line

Boy. Just when you were starting to think the drama between Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad was dying down on The Hills … well, you probably weren’t thinking that, were you? If you were, you don’t know Heidi Montag!

In any event, Heidi Montag following in the footsteps of her former BFF and getting ready to release her very own clothing line! Spencer Pratt’s girl confirmed her new fashion endeavors to People Magazine recently, saying:

“It’s going to be called Heidiwood, and I’m so excited! It’s going to be very price oriented. I want all my fans to be able to buy it. I want to bring that fashionable clothing line down to a price range where people can actually afford it.”

Dancing with the Stars Fallout: Helio Dumped! Mark Injured! Maks to Quit!

Trophies in HandThe fact that Helio Castroneves won the title on Dancing with the Stars last night may be the least interesting result from the evening.

We’re learned today that Helio’s fiancee, Aliette Vazquez, has called off the couple’s engagement. The pair has been together for over six years. Moreover…

Mark Ballas was actually rushed to the hospital after he injured his arm during the Cha Cha performance with partner - and girlfriend - Sabrina Bryan. Those with a keen eye may have noticed that a little over half way through the dance Mark abruptly stopped using his left arm. At one point, you could see him whispher something to Sabrina.

We hope he’s okay.

We also hope Maksim Chmerkovskiy wasn’t serious when he told Extra last night that he may be through with the show.

“If this is the limit of where I can get in a show, then let it be,” Maks said. “I’m satisfied and moving on.”

Helio Castroneves Captures Dancing with the Stars Crown

Maxsim Chmerkovskiy talked a good game, but it wasn’t enough to propel his partner Melanie Brown to victory.

Fans voted race car driver Helio Castroneves and partner Julianne Hough the winners of this season’s Dancing with the Stars last night. We think they made the right choice.

“[The trophy] will look so good between my two Indy 500 trophies,” Helio told the Associated Press.

The Champs!

Other highlights of the results show included a return by Sabrina Bryan and a shirtless All My Children star. Yup, Cameron Mathison ditched his top after a routine. Hubba. Hubba.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy Criticizes Marie Osmond, Routine

Maksim Chmerkovskiy continues to hold nothing back when it comes to his Dancing with the Stars competition; or, to be specific, when it comes to Marie Osmond.

The handsome professional was critical of her selection to act as a “living doll” during the freestyle performance on last night’s show.

“I guess she came out trying to do something… Whatever it is, I guess it’s between her and [Jonathan Roberts}. But nobody else knows what it is,” Dancing professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy told OK! Weekly after the broadcast.

A Living Doll

Maks even said he thought the entire routine was meant as nothing more than an advertisement for Marie’s line of dolls.

“I guess it was a big doll company promotion,” Chmerkovskiy added.

Moreover, Melanie Brown’s partner didn’t shy away from similar, negative comments he made last week regarding Osmond.

“I just said what everybody else was thinking,” Chmerkovskiy said. “To add to that, Marie is one of those people you can’t find any flaws with. I have nothing but the utmost respect for her. God knows this woman went through a lot this season. But, having said that, this is a dance show.”

It’s hard to argue with any of these points, isn’t it?
