Bret Michales Comments on Rock of Love, Jes Rickleff
Bret Michaels is ready for Rock of Love 2.
At least more than he was for the original reality series, which the musician admits came at a bad time: he wasn't prepared for a relationship during the show, making it a good thing Jes Rickleff dumped him, as guess.
"I had just come out of a long relationship with two kids," Michaels said. "I was more ready for 'Rock of Like' or 'Rock of Dating.' Jes and me had a real dose of reality when the show ended. There were five months in between and we talked on the phone a few times. I invited her to my shows in Chicago and St. Louis, but she didn't come.
The reality of reality dating is kind of strange."

I loved the way bret michaels was unwittingly exposed, world-wide in front of millions of television viewers, for the phony, vain, insincere, if not pathetic, jerk of a person he really is. Created for and by himself.(he's a legend in his own mind) All credit being given to the totally gorgeous, all-american, HOT! ambitious, intelligent, and beautiful JES! YES! She upstaged this so called "rock god" with as little effort as flicking a booger. She totally held her own thru every episode of the series despite all the nonsense and sometimes ridiculous stunts (the groupie judges episode, Plleease!) she and the other girls were subjected to. We should only hope that if Bret Michaels is the star of the second season of this so called love / reality show, he gets exactly what he deserves. A mindless, selfish, egotistical, shell of a person. One who is lacking brain, heart, common sense and compassion just like he himself. Then we might have the makings for a more suitable, not to mention watchable type show. "Divorce Court" comes to mind. However, to end on a lighter note try and remember-- "Happily ever after" still could be -"Just Say No" to season 3!

bret is so sexy....he is my dream man...if i only had a chance..i would do so much damage to him....his band is my idol n has been my fav. band my whole life..i look up to them!!!!

Bret, Seeing your photo makes me see the sadness in your eyes.You can't have mixed morals and find Mrs. Right, you will only find Mrs. for right now.You want a lady,someone you can trust abd be totally in love with,yet you've got these chicks on stripper polls. And do you watch what they say when you're out of ear shot? I've dated a rocker or two in my life time. And for the relationship to work there must be trust for both parties. When I was touring, I didn't give a damn if some chick wanted him to sign her body parts, but I did care if he didn't just sign it and maybe give her a peck and walk away. You are dating girls way younger than yourself, yet you exspect maturity and wisedom. T&A is great, I know I've got both and their nice, but I also have a brain, goals, self respect and wisdom. I am a writer; lyrics, and now books. I'd love to write your autobiography???When you tell these girls "the tour ends here", you don't see how crushed they are; but we all saw how crushed you got when Kristie Jo walked out n her own accord. Man those other girls were brutal to her while she minded her own business; yet she did have too much stil going on in her life and was honest enough to see that. I think you're hot as hell but you couldn't pay me compete with 20 women watching you suck face with all of them if my heart were involved.Just watching he show my heart is involved. I have to say that I have started watching your show a few times out of curiosity to see if you are still the same old wild child you were/are with Poison back in my heydey and I agree with what Janet Robinson said in her post plus I can't believe that you choose girls to date that are old enough to be your daughter and are nothing more than groupies. Can't you see that??? These girls don't really know who you are because they were barely toddlers when Poison was on top of the music world. Is it so hard for you to find someone your own age??? I think that you can do better. You seem like an intelligent guy.

bert michaels is a freak .. this guy has no respect for women at all. he likes trashy females it appears. but then again he looks and acts trashy. thinking this show is only to boost his career that,s it. bret needs to be a father to his girls and not worry about getting free sex from any female he can

Thank you Ann you got it in one, this is just a promotional tool to get his solo career back on track and the women are chosen for drama and ratings, not for True Love, come on, though yes it was delicious that the most decent girl on the show dumped him......perhaps not so innocent and real eh Bret, even players get played........
I would love to see a reality show that was somewhat more honest, call it Rock of Lust, the best groupie gets to go on tour and service her man, be willing to share and generally get treated as a doormat but in luxury but when the tour ends, so does her tour, bye bye, NEXT, which is way more honest and real
