Sabrina Bryan Blogs About Dancing with the Stars

We're still in shock over last night's Dancing with the Stars results.

Sabrina Bryan, though, is taking it like a professional. She blogged about her experience on the show and People magazine published her words:

Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas On learning two dances in one week: We got a chance to be rockers for the group dance number. Mentally, it was a little bit tough because we were going at such a rapid speed. I was learning the fox trot and I'd be fine and then he'd take me back to the first part of it and I wouldn't remember it. It was hard for me to retain it. I was freaking out a little.

On getting ready for the fox trot: Mark Ballas wanted to do a whole elegant, classic look and he told me that he wanted my hair simple. He didn't want anything funky with it. He wanted it nice and clean. Mark had the idea of bringing in velvet, which was actually the first time on Dancing with the Stars.

On handling stress: When I am stressed my No. 1 reliever is my music. I have crazy, crazy psycho music. I've got house music. I've got slowâ€"I call it AM motivation music for when you wake up in the morning and you just need calm. No one else can talk and you just want to listen to music and have sssshhhh time.

On what she's taking from her Dancing with the Stars experience: Every minute and every memory I'm taking with me. I'm just pulling this into my heart and capturing it. I'm never going to let it go. I had such an amazing time with Mark. It's not the end for us.

It's not like, "Peace out, Dog. It was great!" It's not like that at all! The friendships - Melanie B. and Jennie Garth are my girls! I love them.

Lauren Conrad on How to Spot a Loser

In the new issue of Us Weekly, Lauren Conrad reveals her secrets on how to spot a loser. He wears gold chains, sports circa 1997 blond frosted hair and goes by the name of Spencer Pratt. Just kidding. Well, he is - but Lauren doesn't say that. At least in this particular magazine article. She probably does in real life!

If you ever thought Lauren Conrad was too picky about guys, maybe it's due to some of the pickup lines that The Hills star is subjected to!

Some of the worst lines LC has heard?

"I had a guy come up to me and ask for a Band-Aid and I said, 'No, I don't have a Band-Aid.' Then he said, 'You're supposed to ask me why,'" she says.

When Lauren Conrad - super friendly and a little naive - played along and asked, the pickup artist replied, "'Because I scraped my knee when I fell for you'... I didn't understand it. I was like, 'Did you really fall?'"

TV Writers' Strike Could Mean More Reality Shows

TV viewers hooked on suspenseful episodes of hit series such as Heroes and Grey's Anatomy could be left hanging if writers proceed with plans to go on strike.

With Hollywood writers prepared to walk Thursday, networks are scrambling for more reality TV shows, game shows, even reruns if the worst occurs.

Viewers could start seeing an onslaught of reality TV shows by early next year, as series such as Desperate Housewives and Heroes run out of episodes.

"I was in a network meeting (Monday), and they were referring to the fact the timing is good for reality producers," producer Mark Cronin said.

He and partner Cris Abrego have been consistently busy with shows such as Flavor of Love, I Love New York and The Surreal Life.

But "it's going from 50 mph to 70 mph," Cronin said, adding that networks must "protect themselves and fill their airspace."

I Love New York 2

Members of the Writers Guild of America and the group representing film and TV producers will meet this week with a mediator after scant progress in talks.

Negotiators remain far apart on the issue of raising payment for profits on DVDs and shows offered on the Internet, cellphones and other devices.

A newcomer to TV's writing ranks earns about $70,000 per season for full-time work on a show like Heroes. Veteran TV show writers who move up to a story editor position would get at least a low six-figure salary.

If writers walk out, the effect wouldn't be felt immediately. Networks have enough episodes of some shows, like CSI, Grey's Anatomy, 30 Rock and Ugly Betty, written to last at least the end of the year and possibly well into 2008.

After that, most schedules will run into trouble. That could mean a lot more reality TV shows on tap soon. Which is all good with the Scoop! We're envisioning a hybrid of The Amazing Race, Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelor next spring.

Tony Dovolani Blasts Carrie Ann Inaba

Tony Dovolani PhotoDancing with the Stars? More like Fighting Between the Professionals!

Tony Dovolani is far from pleased about the comments of judge Carrie Ann Inaba; specifically, he's steamed about her referring to the "lifts" that Dovolani and his partner Jane Seymour were called out for during their October 15 performance.

"She does not understand what ballroom dancing is," Dovolani told People magazine "She's never done it herself."

The professional went on to say that lifts are not easy to qualify; they fall into a dancing "gray area."

"She's the inappropriate judge to pick on the lifts," Dovolani said. "She does not have a ballroom background... She really comes from the hip-hop world. While we have the utmost respect for her as a dancer - it's not as a ballroom dancer."

Dovolani added it's not as if Inaba doesn't know how he feels about the matter, as he told the publication that he presented her with a ballroom rule book the day after she criticized the couple's waltz for containing illegal lifts.

"Because she does not know anything about ballroom, I figured she should at least read the rule book," he said. "I highlighted the parts I wanted her to read including the description of what a lift is."

Her response?

"She laughed about it and gave me the finger," Dovolani said. "I thought it was a very ladylike gesture. I laughed because I thought I hit home. And then I paid for it [last] week because we got the lowest score from her."

Last night, meanwhile, Seymour was sick with food poisoning, possibly saving this couple from elimination? Who was voted off?

Sabrina Bryan, in an absolute shocker.

Tiffany Pollard Sends 20 Pack Packing

During the I Love New York 2 elimination ceremony last night, Tifffany Pollard said she was tired of making decisions based on violence and not on her heart.

She rattles on about how she admires Mr. Wise for not beating the crap out of Tailor Made. Pollard then turns her attention to Tailor Made and says that spitting on someone is the worst thing you can ever do.

Pollard makes him apologize to Mr. Wise, but it's not accepted.

After all this, somehow, New York doesn't eliminate Tailor Made! She dumps 20 Pack because he's interested in taking baby steps to love, and she only has a little bit of time to fall in love.

Well, sure. Who wants to take time to get to know someone and make sure he is right for you? This is ridiculous.

The Amazing Race Profile: Lorena Segura & Jason Widener

As contestants on The Amazing Race 12, both Lorena Segura and Jason Widener can admit that their relationship (they're dating) has been in turmoil for the past several years. Now they're willing to put it to the test.

BuddyTV sat down with Lorena and Jason for an interview prior to the new season and learned some interesting things about this pairing. Here are some key points about Lorena Segura and Jason Widener all fans should know ...

The Hills: Working in N.Y., Feuding in SoCal

Spencer Pratt is perhaps the biggest tool in America. Brody Jenner has some great hair. Lauren Conrad looked really damn hot and even professional in her work trip to Manhattan, and the amazing Whitney Port more than held her own in front of the Teen Vogue brain trust during her big presentation. And that was that.

Audrina Patridge and Heidi Montag were not featured on screen at all last night, but it was still a great episode of The Hills. Man, you have to love a good Spencer Pratt sulk-fest, as much as you despise this smarmy individual. Acting so cool when he's the farthest thing from it? If it's all staged, he does a damn good job at it.

The Repulsive Spencer PrattBrody Jenner

It was nice to see the Brody-Spencer feud (as opposed to the Lauren-Heidi feud) in focus for a change of pace. We also loved seeing LC and Whitney doing work, rather than just gossiping or clubbing. Click here for a thorough recap of The Hills.

The Bachelor Episode Guide: Hometown Visits

On last night's episode of The Bachelor, Brad Womack the hometowns of the four remaining women - Bettina, DeAnna Pappas, Jenni Croft and Sheena Stewart - to meet their families and get a taste of their home life. For better or worse.

He hit it off with some families and experienced awkwardness and downright rude, unwelcoming behavior from others. So basically, this Bachelor finally saw what it's like to have in-laws. Bunch of losers if you ask us.

By the end of the evening, he narrowed the field from four to three - three lovely ladies he will take on romantic getaways to Cabo San Lucas next.

Studly Brad Womack

Brad Womack: Narrows the field to three!

While Jenni Croft, DeAnna Pappas, Bettina and Sheena Stewart have all showed great moxie and talent in getting this far, it's the end of the line for one of them.

Dancing With the Stars Recap: A Scary, Spicey Performance

It wasn't exactly a night of amazing routines on Dancing with the Stars.

Granted, Melanie Brown emerged as the front-runner, alongside hunky partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, as the pair earned its first 30 of the season.

But others, including previously impressive Sabrina Bryan, struggled.

Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum Comment on Project Runway

With the season four premiere of Project Runway set for November 14, Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum recently talked about the success of their reality show on a conference call with reporters.

So, why has the show been such a hit over the years?

"I think people truly love talented people. They make something with their passion, with their love, and with their hands," Klum said. "People love to watch talented people at work and watch what they can do. It's as simple as that."

Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum

Project Runway has been nominated for seven Emmy Awards over the last two years, while also winning the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Reality Program this year.

The show has been criticized for allowing contestants with bigger personalities to advance over people with more design talent. However, Klum and Gunn each took that criticism personally.

"That's preposterous! A big part of the audition process is narrowing it down to 120 semi-finalists and any one of them could win this. The talent is there and the personalities just become an aspect of it," Gunn said.

Klum agreed.

"Anyone who has watched the show and is a fan of the show would agree with us. If you're not a designer and you don't know what you're doing, you won't even make it on."
