Report: Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt Photos, Engagement Staged
We always suspected it was true, because it's kind of obvious, but now it looks as if the nauseating, fake-looking photos of Heidi Montag and her "fiance" Spencer Pratt - as well as their engagement - really are staged!
Video and audio footage has surfaced of some photographers talking about their paparazzi agency's "set up" that they did with the gross couple from The Hills.
Heidi and Spencer, as first reported by Celebrity Babylon, have reportedly racked up at least $30,000 for staging photos - as well as their engagement - for a spread in a certain tabloid magazine.
"It's an arrangement that suits both of them," says an MTV insider.
"They won't be walking down the aisle, but they will go through the motions of planning a wedding, and then have a big break-up that will get lots of press. All caught on camera by photographers, of course."
Wow. And we thought crashing scenes with Lauren Conrad during filming of Season 3 of The Hills was shameless.
Here's Celebrity Babylon's comment on the matter:
"It's a contract in hand... the dirtiest deal in Hollywood. The romance is a publicity stunt to make the two cover-worthy magazine stars and generate a significant side income!"

I agree. They're not THAT bad. There's worse in Hollywood, ok. I saw the stupid video last night. That proves nothing. The people don't even show their faces!! If Heidi and Spencer are truely engaged, good for them. If not, so what? Other celebs pull publicity stunts all the time. If you don't want them to have publicity, don't post about them! (See... you're giving them publicity the want in the first place, they win). I could easily vaguely not put my face in a video and talk to "someone" about how I overheard Jessica Simpson confessing to friend that she had a little surgical help with her boobs. (Obviously not true). So please, just let it go! How about we bash Lauren for being so lesbian like on her roommates! Doesn't that ever pop questions in peoples head? She freaks on Heidi all the time, and rumor is she freaked on Audrina for not coming home one night. Weird!! We move out to do stuff on our own, and here is Lauren acting like a mom or lesbian lover and not letting them live their lives! Grr.

are you kidding me? you're defending these two? they are the absolute WORST case of fake celebrities out there. and if it weren't for Lauren Conrad, no one would know of EITHER of these two. give me a break. they both need to crawl back under the rock they came from. i couldn't care less whether or not they're engaged, but i do care that i have to see their stupid faces pop up on sites/mags i read.

Heidi, run for your life! Spencer is the biggest cheese ball I've ever seen. He's about as fake as it can get. Seriously, girl, get away as soon as possible. He's sucking you into his devious, manipulative web. Lauren was right and did the right thing to distance herself. She's one of the few real people left in Hollywood and saw right through Spencer! Yuck!!!!!!

Brittany (regarding your post)... Who CARES if Lauren freaks out on Audrina. From history, I'd say she might have a reason, based on how right she was about Heidi. She calls it like she sees it - can't argue with that. If Audrina didn't come home there is probably a valid reason - NOT that she's a lesbo... come-on people didn't you ever see Thelma and Louis? Same thing, different era.

I truly think that Heidi is making a big mistake, even though things that happen on The Hills may not be real,I think that Spencer still isn't a very good man for Heidi.

I liked Hiedi but Spencer seemed like a player. And the way he treated Hiedi's best friend was not very kind. Maybe his love for her has made him be faithful and nicer to Hiedi's friends. They look and seem very happy together.

I love lauren and used to really like heidi but she is acting like a grade a spas and has commited the worst sin ever by dumping a girl friend for a man! As for the engagement being fake well it really wouldn't suprise me especially where that creepy sleezeball spencer is involved. What i cant understand is how he gets these girls he is an ugly creep! How is she falling for his crap?! is she blind!?

Don't you people know anything? All "reality" shows are staged for ratings and edited to make it look like people are talking smack about one another or fighting. Don't believe what you see on television or read in a magazine...it's all fake.

I think Heidi is a bitch. The only time she can confidently talk about Lauren is when she is with that douche bag Spencer. I mean seriously the guy is a loser. I definently think it is completly obvious that he is using her and she will be making a BIG mistake if she marries him. He is way to controlling and she needs to stand up for her self. The only reason she and Lauren arn't friends is because he doens't want them to be. How immature was he to end a friendship with Brody who made him famous because of association of an enemy? The guy is a total sissy.

Hmm.........if this show is fake, it's doing a good job! If it's mostly real, then Heidi and Spencer deserves to be together. They're both evil. Heidi is a fool in love. Lauren is Hot and so is Whitney. Audrina....I Love her eyes. Audrina need to leave that guy. Why the hell is she keeping her past. Move on already! There's way better hotter guy out there. Whitney keeping the drama out. Smart girl.

i think lauren is an awesome person and a great friend. as for spencer and heidi, their relationship is as fake as heidi's engagement ring. spencer is a loser, and he has heidi totally brainwashed. he's not even cute, and heidi needs to open her eyes and kick spencer to the curb! lauren and brody need to get back together, they look so cute together. I mean, the loser bought her a amethyst for her engagement ring...He's supposed to be so rich and she doesn't even get a diamond? Not to mention the fact that he suggested their wedding be in Tibet?? WTF!!?? The only reason that anyone knows who these two losers are is because of Lauren...and now that we know who they are, we wish we didn't. Spencer is creepy as hell and Heidi is just dumb as a flippin rock, which she makes clear every time she opens her mouth. I can't stand either one of them.
